We have reserved a block of rooms for our guests at the following hotel:

Courtyard by Marriott - Durham Near Duke University/Downtown

This is a great hotel close to Duke's campus, as well as less than a mile from our house.  It's right off I-85, and has a pool, restaurant, and free high-speed internet access.

Rooms will be held for our guests until three weeks before the wedding.

Please reserve rooms as early as possible!!  Rooms are held for the nights of August 31 and September 1, 2007.

Room rate: $75  

Please call 1-888-236-2427 and ask for rooms in the "Lipps-Rose Wedding" block at the Courtyard by Marriott - Durham Near Duke University/Downtown.

 

**If, for some reason, you do not wish to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott, these are other hotels in the area:

About $99/night.

This hotel is right across the street from the Courtyard by Marriott and allows pets (with a fee).  It's not quite as nice, in our opinion, as the Courtyard, but still a very nice place to stay.  We recommend this if you're traveling with a pet.

About $60/night.

This hotel is also right across the street from the Courtyard by Marriott.  Housekeeping and hotel maintenance are not ideal in our opinion.  However, it's cheaper than the Courtyard by Marriott so we thought we'd put it on here.

Millennium Hotel, 2800 Campus Walk Ave, Durham, NC 27705, 919-383-8575

This hotel is very nice, and very close to Duke's campus.  It's also about $169/night
